Purpose and Scope

This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to all payments made by users to WombTo18 Integrated Care Private Limited ("WombTo18," "we," "us," or "our") in connection with access to the WombTo18 platform, including but not limited to one-time registration fees, subscription plans (monthly or annual), and any premium feature charges (collectively, "Fees").

This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the WombTo18 Terms and Conditions. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given to them in the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

This Policy does not apply to payments made under separate institutional partnership agreements between WombTo18 and hospitals, clinics, schools, or business partners, which are governed by the specific commercial terms of those agreements.

General Non-Refundable Principle

As a general principle, Fees paid for services already rendered or activated are non-refundable. This includes:

  • Registration fees, once an account has been successfully created and activated.
  • Subscription fees for any billing period during which platform access has been provided and services have been delivered, including vaccination reminders, growth tracking, milestone alerts, and related features.
  • Fees for premium features or modules that have been accessed or used by the user following purchase.

Users are encouraged to review all subscription details, pricing, and feature descriptions carefully before completing payment.

Circumstances in Which a Refund Will Be Considered

Notwithstanding the general principle in Section 2, WombTo18 will consider a refund request in the following specific circumstances:

3.1 Duplicate Payment

Where a user has been charged more than once for the same transaction due to a technical error by the payment gateway or WombTo18's systems, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full. The user must submit a refund request within 7 days of the transaction date and provide supporting evidence (such as bank statements or payment confirmation emails showing duplicate charges).

3.2 Proven Non-Delivery of Paid Service

Where a user has paid for a specific feature or service that was never made available due to a verified platform error attributable to WombTo18 (and not to user error, incorrect contact details, third-party delivery infrastructure failures, or network issues outside WombTo18's control), a partial or full refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis. The user must submit a refund request within 7 days of the date on which the service was expected to be delivered.

3.3 Statutory Entitlement Under Applicable Law

Where a refund is required under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 or any other applicable Indian law, WombTo18 will process the refund in accordance with the requirements of that law, regardless of the general non-refundable principle above. Users who believe they are entitled to a statutory refund should cite the applicable provision in their refund request.

How to Submit a Refund Request

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the relevant transaction date. Requests submitted after this period will not ordinarily be considered, except where required by applicable law.

To submit a refund request:

  • Email eshwar@wombto18.com with the subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Registration Number]".
  • Include your registered mobile number or email address, transaction ID or payment reference number, date and amount of payment, reason for the refund request, and any supporting documentation (bank statement, screenshots, or correspondence).
  • Alternatively, submit the request through the "Contact Us" section of your WombTo18 dashboard.

We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 3 business days and will respond with a decision within 15 business days of receipt.

Refund Review Process

Upon receipt of a valid refund request, WombTo18 will:

  • Verify the identity of the requestor against the registered account details.
  • Review the transaction records and, where applicable, platform delivery logs to determine whether the circumstances in Section 3 are satisfied.
  • Confirm the scope and quantum of any refund payable, or provide written reasons for declining the request.

WombTo18 reserves the right to request additional documentation or information to support the review. Failure to provide requested documentation within a reasonable time may result in the request being closed.

Refund Processing Timeline

  • Where a refund is approved, WombTo18 will initiate the refund within 5–7 business days of the approval decision. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of the transaction.
  • The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in your account will depend on your bank or payment service provider and is outside WombTo18's control. Typical bank processing times for refunds in India range from 5 to 10 business days from the date of initiation.
  • WombTo18 will not be responsible for delays caused by the user's bank, payment gateway, or any intermediary financial institution.

Subscription Cancellation

  • Users may cancel a subscription at any time through their account settings or by contacting eshwar@wombto18.com.
  • Cancellation of a subscription will take effect at the end of the current billing period. Access to paid features will continue until the end of the period for which payment has already been made. No partial refund will be issued for unused days within a paid billing period, except in the circumstances described in Section 3.
  • For annual subscriptions, cancellation requests submitted within 7 days of the annual renewal date, where no services have been used in the new annual period, will be reviewed under the non-delivery provisions in Section 3.2.

Non-Refundable Items — For Clarity

The following are explicitly non-refundable under this Policy:

  • Fees for any billing period already in progress or completed.
  • Registration or onboarding fees once account activation has been confirmed.
  • Fees for premium features where access has been granted and the feature has been used.
  • Fees where the user's dissatisfaction relates to third-party service quality (e.g., a healthcare provider's consultation outcome or a vaccination centre's service), as WombTo18 acts only as a technology intermediary.
  • Fees where the refund request is submitted after the 7-day window, except as required by applicable law.

Fraudulent Refund Requests

WombTo18 reserves the right to reject refund requests that are found to be fraudulent, based on misrepresentation of facts, or submitted by a person other than the account holder. Fraudulent refund requests may result in suspension or termination of the user's account in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

Grievance Escalation

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of a refund review, you may escalate your complaint to our Grievance Officer:

If your grievance remains unresolved after submission to the Grievance Officer, you may approach the appropriate consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Relationship to Other Documents

This Policy is to be read alongside the WombTo18 Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, both available at www.wombto18.com. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and the Terms and Conditions on refund-related matters, this Policy shall prevail.

Amendments to This Policy

WombTo18 may amend this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or registered email at least 7 days prior to taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
